On the move again: International business awaits!

Last month our International Operations Manager, David, travelled to the Philippines to undertake some important business for our international partnerships.

Accompanied by Alana Kaye International Country Manager, Arvin, David met with the Construction Manpower Development Corporation team, headed by Executive Director, Ofelia Usigan, for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony. This agreement commences our partnership with the Construction Manpower Development Corporation to support the Transnational Higher Education advocacy and aid in providing a global standard of education to Filipinos in the growing industry of Building and Construction.

We’re also extremely pleased to welcome our first partner institution in the Philippines, Asia Pacific College! While in the Philippines, David and Arvin sat down with Asia Pacific College President Dr. Ma. Teresita Medado, and External Linkages Specialist Mr. Saul Agassi Adre for another Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, as part of the Philippines Republic Act No. 11448, with focus on expanding access to educational services through the establishment and administration of Transnational Higher Education.

To wrap up their delegation, David and Arvin met with Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati’s TVET team led by TVET Director Fr. Dindo Vitug, also joined by his Deputy Executive Director, Jhen Asedillas-Gopez, and Technical Director, Johnnie Santos, where they held discussions on potential partnership opportunities. We look forward to continuing these discussions further in the near future.

We’d like to graciously thank all of the above institutions for meeting with us during our visit. Our international partnerships not only strengthen the implementation of Transnational Higher Education here in the Philippines, but across the world.
