Fast times at Alana Kaye: Our international team hits the air!

It’s been busy at Alana Kaye recently, with our international team hitting the air to do what they do best.

Our Manager of International Operations, David, recently returned to the Philippines to officiate our partnership with Don Bosco-One TVET Philippines Inc. Along with our Country Manager, Arvin, David attended a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing last Wednesday at the Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati.

We’re excited to be one of several educational institutions to be partnering with Don Bosco for the implementation of the Transnational Education (TNE) program. The Ambassador of Australia in the Philippines, Her Excellency HK Yu PSM, attended the MOA signings to show her support for the TNE program and the opportunities it will bring to the Philippines.

Later in the week, David and Arvin also met with the Cebu Contractors Association (CCA), partners of the Construction Manpower Development Foundation, our recent MOU partners. We are hopeful for more collaborations with CCA and aim to seal an agreement to be able to implement TNE in Cebu. We’d like to sincerely thank Penny and CMDF for introducing us to CCA and for making the exploratory meeting possible.

While exploring the Visayas region in Cebu our team also met with the renowned University of San Jose – Recoletos. Meeting with the Assistant Principals, Raquel Perez and Herben Tautho, David and Arvin were able to discuss further opportunities for potential partnerships in Cebu for TNE.

Meanwhile back in Australia, our International Partnerships Administrator, Maria has been flying across the country, firstly to Darwin where she caught up with our partners, Akash from Amazing Education and Visa Services, and Anna from Enhance Northern Territory, to chat about all things international education.

The following week she represented Alana Kaye in both Sydney and Melbourne at the Study Gold Coast Agents Roadshow to help promote the Gold Coast as an attractive study destination for international students. This was a fantastic networking opportunity for local education agents to learn about the courses on offer within the Gold Coast for international students. Thank you to Experience Gold Coast for having us!
