Philippines Seminars and Travels

From the desk of our Manager of International Operations, David Thomson:

Last April I had the privilege of travelling to Manila, Philippines, with our CEO, Ms Alana Anderson to catch up with our Philippines based admissions officers, Ms Sofia Oranles and Ms Faye Abarquez. It was great to finally be able to catch up face to face after the pandemic had kept us apart for two years, and now that the borders are open I’m excited to see these in person meetings continue more regularly.

While in Manila, we met with several Education Agents and business partners, and also conducted two seminars for prospective students considering coming to study in Australia with Alana Kaye College. We were incredibly pleased to see great attendance numbers on both nights, and we have already received several excellent applications from prospective students. We look forward to them studying with us in the not-too-distant future.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Ms Rachel Guimalan from SMW Visa. Rachel is a great partner to us and attended both of our student information seminars, to share her knowledge and expertise.

I’d also like to thank the people of the Philippines and Manila for their outstanding hospitality during our stay. The Philippines is an amazing country with the most welcoming people.

We have some exciting announcements coming up towards the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 relevant to the Philippines, and we look forward to sharing the announcements with you all soon.
