Recently our CEO, Ms Alana Anderson, and our International Operations Manager, David Thomson, attended the Australian Future Skills Mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Australian Future Skills Mission aims to work towards strengthening transnational education partnerships and workforce development cooperation between Australia and Cambodia.
Alana and David represented Alana Kaye College, one of around 20 leading Australian education and training providers who attended the delegation, along with state government representatives and officials.
Guests were welcomed with a reception at Derek Yip, the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia’s residence, with H.E Heng Sour, Minister for Labour and Vocation Training also in attendance.
Guests were then invited to attend various forums and meetings to continue working on their transnational opportunities such as the ‘Australia Cambodia Education Forum: Exploring Partnership Opportunities’.
Alana and David found the delegation to be widely successful and have entered discussions toward investigating some fantastic new possibilities for Alana Kaye College in the near future.
