Earlier this year, our CEO, Ms. Alana Anderson, conducted our first Philippines based transnational training session in partnership with Alana Kaye College, and the Australian Government through the Australian Embassy of the Philippines, Department of Home Affairs.
During this transnational training initiative, students composed of Government personnel from 3 different agencies, the Bureau of Immigration, the Bureau of Customs, and the Philippines Coast Guard, will undertake a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
In early April, Alana returned to the Philippines to conduct the second training session where the students had to complete the delivery cluster component of their course. There were a vast range of many interesting topics covered during the presentations.
Most recently, in early May, Alana held the final training cluster of the course, joined by both the newly appointed, and outgoing, Chief Migration Officer from the Immigration and Settlement Services Group of the Dept of Home Affairs, Australian Embassy in the Philippines, Justin O’Donnell and Willian Rivera.
We are proud to announce the successful completion of the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment by all the enrolled Learning and Development Officers from the various Philippine border control agencies.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Anderson for her dedication, expertise, and leadership throughout the training. We also acknowledge Mr. William Rivera, Chief Migration Officer of the Immigration and Settlement Services Group, for his invaluable role in coordinating and supporting this initiative.
The TAE40122 Certificate IV is a nationally recognized Australian qualification that equips participants to become effective trainers and assessors in their respective fields. This program enhances instructional capabilities and supports long-term capacity building within key Philippine border management agencies.
More than just a training program, this initiative exemplifies the future of transnational education—showcasing how global partnerships can deliver high-quality, accredited learning experiences across borders. It sets a benchmark for international professional development and educational collaboration.
This partnership has proved to be a highly successful undertaking for Alana Kaye as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening transnational education between Australia and our international friends abroad. We celebrate this important milestone and look forward to further strengthening our international relationships through education and training.
