We Won! #ExportAwards2022

Earlier this month we were fortunate enough to win both the International Training Award and NT Export Award at the 29th annual Chief Minister’s NT Export Awards gala dinner.

As written by “NT Export Award winners announced”, by AM News, October 10th 2022, Australian Manufacturing:

The Territory is a significant contributor to Australia’s national trade and this year’s awards showcase those Territory export businesses that are excelling.

International trade is an important economic driver that contributed $12.1 billion to the economy last year and we know it will only continue to grow.

This year’s categories included small business, agribusiness, resources, manufacturing, professional services, and regional exporter, with the winners being:

  • Alana Kaye Group – Northern Territory Exporter of the Year 2022 and International Education and Training
  • Australian Cattle Enterprises – Emerging Exporter
  • Consolidated Pastoral Company – Agribusiness Food and Beverage
  • Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage – Regional Exporter
  • Australian Blue Cypress – Manufacturing and Advanced Materials
  • North Australia Yacht Support – Professional Services
  • Cycad Enterprises – Small Business
  • Andrew Ping Lu, Plant Sensors – Sustainability
  • Pak Fresh Handling – Export Supply Chain Award (NT judges recognition award)

Winners of the Northern Territory Export Awards will now progress as finalists at the national level, with the Australian Export Awards to be held in Canberra on 24 November 2022.

Quotes attributed to the Minister for Northern Australia and Trade Nicole Manison:

“Congratulations to all the finalists and winners who play a crucial role in the Territory economy. They’re all pioneers in the export community, creating and selling Territory ingenuity to the world, while creating local jobs.

From Alana Kaye Group training our future workforce and reducing our skills shortage, to Consolidated Pastoral Company putting our beef exports on the map, these businesses are proving the Territory is open for business.”

And a personal message from the desk of our CEO, Ms Alana Anderson. 🏆🎉

“On behalf of myself and all staff of Alana Kaye College, we would like to thank The Northern Territory (NT) Chief Ministers Office, in partnership with Chamber of Commerce NT – Central Australia, Austrade, and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Industry Northern Territory, for awarding us with both the International Training Award and NT Export Award at the 2022 Chief Minister’s NT Export Awards, held last Friday night in Darwin, Northern Territory.
