We’re Equipped For All Your Training Needs!

Our campus training facilities are fully kitted out with the latest assistive equipment and technology to ensure our students are able to acquire a realistic understanding of operations within their given industries when undertaking training with us.

Recently some of our Community Services students took part in some hands-on group training designed to build their practical skills and confidence in preparation for their upcoming community work placements.

Activities included demonstrations and role-play scenarios such as shaving with the help of a balloon to practice gentle hand movements, cleaning dentures, and using a hoist to safely transfer a person from their bed to a wheelchair.

These interactive exercises encouraged teamwork and promoted a strong understanding of client care practices to an industry standard.

A particularly engaging and insightful interaction took place amongst the students as they practiced their communication and empathy skills, extremely vital attributes for working in the community sector.

These activities not only enhanced their practical capabilities but also reinforced the importance of dignity, respect, and sociological awareness when supporting individuals in need.

If you’re interested in checking out our training facilities first-hand, give us a shout and chat to one of our friendly staff about how undertaking one of our Community Services, Individual Support, or Aged Care courses could benefit you.
