TAE40116 to TAE40122

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Upgrade

Course Overview

The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the most recent trainer and assessor qualification endorsed in version 5 of the TAE Training and Education Training Package. This TAE40116 to TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Upgrade provides a pathway for candidates who want to hold the latest qualification.

Individuals who possess the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment might want to upgrade now because they either:

  • Need to upgrade due to the specific internal policies and guidelines of an RTO that they work for or might potentially want to work for in the future.
  • Want to benefit from the personal marketing advantages of holding the latest version of the qualification
  • See this as a useful professional development process to keep themselves current
  • Conclude that it might be a good time to upgrade now, in preference to potentially having to do this at a later time, when the upgrade process might be more difficult and/or expensive.

We have developed a recognition pathway based on the compilation of evidence, designed specifically for currently qualified and experienced trainers and assessors through RPL and/or Gap questions.

Applicants will be asked to have copies of their trainer and assessor credentials ready to supply upon submitting an application.
