International student’s return to the Northern Territory

After the successful arrival of a plane load of students into the Northern Territory (NT), Alana Kaye College, in conjunction with other private International providers from the Northern Territory, is currently working with the NT Government and the Federal Government of Australia to bring more overseas students back. Where currently there is no guarantee that this will happen, our proposal has gone up to the Federal Government and we are waiting on approvals and it does look promising. It’s anticipated that this will be in April 2021 and it is important that all prospective students have visa approval a month prior to departure from your home country. If you wish to be one of these lucky students (or know of anybody who would love to come and study in the NT and Alana Kaye College) contact us and we will talk you through the process. international@alanakaye.edu.au

International students are always very welcome into our multicultural community and there are many groups, organisations and student support teams located in the beautiful ‘top end’ of Australia. This is also the closest capital city to Asia as it’s only 4 hours to Singapore from Darwin’s international airport. Just for interest sake, the Northern Territory covers 1,349,129 square kilometres (520,902 sq miles) making it the third-largest Australian Federal division, and the 11th largest country subdivision in the world. To put in into perspective, Spain, Germany and Italy could all fit into the Northern Territory. Imagine the jurisdictions of Spain, Germany and Italy all together not having one ‘community transfer’ of COVID-19 since the onset of this Pandemic. This is what’s happened in the Northern Territory, and it’s a record that we are very proud of. Our Northern Territory government has been very successful in keeping this disease out of our Community. Our quarantine centre in Howard Springs in Darwin has been extremely successful and many returning Australians have been directed to spend their two week quarantine period at this facility before heading out to other parts of Australia.

Come and study with us. You are always welcome ☺
