Australian Export Awards – ‘International Education and Training Award 2020’

Alana Kaye College introduced our International arm of the College in late 2018 with the team celebrating our first international student from the Philippines. It was a very exciting time for all of us and the start of something that has grown so quickly. Within the first twelve months we had reached our capacity of 90 international students and we then increased our numbers to 150. The Darwin campus filled up very quickly and we have now been at our international capacity since mid 2019. We have students from over 40 different countries around the world.

In 2019 we were nominated for the Northern Territory Austrade Emerging Exporter of the Year Award and we were very proud to win this award amongst some other very worthy organisations. This put our College into the top Emerging Exporters in Australia. In November 2020 we were nominated for the Chief Minister’s NT Export and Industry Awards for the ‘International Education and Training Award’. Our College won this award based on our resilience and growth during what can only be called a difficult time for many many people around the world. This award was enough to motivate us to grow further and expand our quality education into other cities around Australia. Gold Coast was our first choice and our strategic plan has us focussed on continual growth providing excellent training to both domestic and international students around Australia.
