We are pleased and excited to announce our new partnership between Alana Kaye College and Pacific English Study, an English language school located in Surfers Paradise on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
With their programs, textbooks and learning materials based off Cambridge University, and their commitment to maintain a smaller class selection to give a more personal approach to learning, students can be assured they will be studying their English at the highest possible standard. Pacific English Study are also assessed against the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) with online testing, conducted by Cambridge Assessment English.
To guarantee every student’s learning is maximised to the best experience possible, every teacher at Pacific English Study proudly holds a university degree along with additional Teaching English as a Second Language qualifications, and specialty experience in face-to-face teaching.
When looking for an English study school to partner with, sharing values with an exceptional commitment to education, it was hard to go past Pacific English Study. This partnership will provide a pathway for students who are ready to start skill-based courses after graduating successfully in English language proficiency.
Recently we were invited to attend our first partner workshop with Pacific English Study where their teachers organised a fun entertainment-based workshop for their students to compete in where they were asked to make their own home-made film. The lucky first prize was $300 cash, with the runner-up prizes consisting of free meal vouchers and chocolates.
Over sixty students attended the workshop and were treated to pizzas and beverages. This was an excellent opportunity for us to speak directly with some of the Pacific students and advise them of their continued study opportunities once they are ready to enter the VET world, such as their eligibility to take any VET course at Alana Kaye College as soon as they graduate from their upper intermediate level training.
We are very excited about our newly formed partnership with Pacific English Study and the upcoming activities that we will be able to share together as we seek to continue providing an exceptional educational experience to all our students.
